Assess the space
Identify which animals enter and from where. A net chosen solely to deter pigeons may not withstand a larger animal.
Choose the right materials
Discuss stronger mesh, reinforcement and the limits of a proposed monkey barrier with the installer. Do not rely on a standard bird net for that purpose.
Plan the installation
Check the perimeter and supports carefully, including nearby ledges or branches that make the opening reachable.
Keep it in good condition
Monitor wear, tampering and loose fixings; arrange professional repairs if an animal has stressed the barrier.
